Motorcycle Camera Equipment

I have a lot of people ask me what type of gear we use on our motorcycle adventure trips for taking photos and filming.

I have created a new page listing all the cameras we use and what we use them for.

I will be adding things like camera mounts and tripods to the page as I get time.

You can see it here:

Hope you find it useful... happy filming Mark

BlogPress - Facebook FIX

Just got an IPhone App update for BlogPress and I am just testing it out.

It is supposed to fix the Facebook posting issue.

Here's to hoping that it works.

UPDATE: It works better but still not the best and i don't think there is any need to have the big BlogPress logo posted, it would be better to have your own image from the post there instead.

Keep the shiny side up! Mark

Test Blog to Facebook

Just testing this BlogPress App with the Facebook posting turned on.

Well this didn't really work, as all it does is log into Facebook after you publish the post and let you type in a comment.

Doesn't even link back to the blog post which is a bit stupid.

Anyway we figured out how to make Facebook display our new posts automatically which is much better and a lot quicker.

The less we have to do on the road the better.

Happy riding... Mark

Our Blog Setup Rocks!

G'Day Bikers,

I say "Biker" as I figure if your looking at this blog, you're most likely a biker!

I have been playing around with the new blog site and it is working like a dream using the Blog Press App on my iPhone.

I thought I would now try and see what I can do using Blogger.com directly from my computer.

Posting this way gives me a whole lot more options in the way of formatting, but really nothing that is necessary.

I do find the spell checker very handy (don't have Naomi picking me up on all my spelling errors).

Keep on riding... Mark

Our New Blog Site

Naomi and I were discussing where our next motorcycle adventure ride was going to be and while going over the usual stuff, I said we need a simple way of updating our website while on the road!

I normally write a story with photos and add it to the website, but it's usually weeks and sometimes months after the trip.

This blog would be an easy way for me to use my iPhone to update our http://www.bikerbits.com.au/ website with updates on our progress and it would also be a great way for me to refer back to when writing the trip story.

After a lot of searching and debating, we decided on Blogger.com for the online blog site.

We purchased the iPhone App BlogPress for a measly $2.99 and as you can see it works fantastic.

This means I can quickly type some boring bullshit into my iPhone while we are stopped along the roadside having a cigarette.

I have setup an RSS feed display program on the website so that the updates will be displayed on the front page.

Another great thing with the BlogPress App is that it will also post to Facebook as well.

See you on the back roads... Mark
